I remember buying this book in our old local Waterstones in Tenterden. The bookseller who recommended me this book that day was, I think, very proud to because the author is no other than Waterstones longest-serving manager himself!
Reading this book made me so happy as I felt like I also belonged to the most enormous and wide ranging book club of the world. The author portrays the emotions of the act of readings itself and where those personal stories take us.
